Booking & Scheduling

How do I book a cleaning?

Head to our Book a Clean page and fill out the form — it takes about 2 minutes. You'll enter your home size, service type, preferred days, and contact info. Your job is then posted to our local cleaner network, and once a cleaner claims it, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

How quickly will I hear back after booking?

Most bookings are confirmed within a few hours. In all cases, we aim to have your booking confirmed within 24 hours. If your job is unclaimed after 24 hours, we'll reach out to find alternative options for you.

Can I request a specific cleaner?

At this time our system works by posting your job to our available cleaner network and the first available cleaner claims it. If you've had a great experience with a specific cleaner and want to work with them again, email us at hello@lakeshorecleanmn.com and we'll do our best to accommodate.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Simply email us at hello@lakeshorecleanmn.com as soon as possible. There are no cancellation fees — we just ask for as much notice as you can give so your cleaner can adjust their schedule.

Pricing & Payment

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on your home's square footage and the type of clean. You can see your estimated price update in real time as you fill out the booking form. Visit our Pricing page for a full breakdown. We're typically 20–30% below national chains — no contracts, no hidden fees.

Are there any hidden fees or contracts?

None whatsoever. The price you see when you book is the price you pay. No add-ons, no service fees, no contracts, no cancellation penalties. We believe in transparent pricing — full stop.

How do I pay?

Payment details are coordinated directly through our process. We'll include payment information in your booking confirmation email. If you have questions, reach out to us at hello@lakeshorecleanmn.com.

The Cleaning

Do cleaners bring their own supplies?

Yes — all Lakeshore Clean Co. cleaners supply their own professional-grade cleaning equipment and supplies. You don't need to provide anything. Just let us know if you have any specific preferences (like unscented products) in the notes section of your booking.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

You do not need to be present. Many of our customers prefer to be out of the house during their clean. Just make sure your cleaner has access — you can include entry instructions in the notes section of your booking form.

What's the difference between a Standard and Deep Clean?

A Standard Clean covers all main living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and dusting — great for regular recurring maintenance. A Deep Clean includes everything in Standard plus inside appliances, baseboards, cabinet fronts, window sills, and more detailed attention throughout. We recommend a Deep Clean for first-time customers as a baseline, then switching to Standard for recurring visits. See our full Pricing Guide for details.

What if I'm not satisfied with my clean?

We stand behind our work. If something wasn't done to your satisfaction, email us at hello@lakeshorecleanmn.com within 24 hours and we'll make it right — whether that means a re-clean of the affected areas or another resolution.

About Our Cleaners

Are your cleaners background checked?

Yes. All cleaners in our network are required to complete a background check through Checkr before they can accept jobs. Your safety and peace of mind matter.

Why do your cleaners keep 90%+ of the booking?

We believe that when cleaners are paid fairly, they bring their best work to every job. Most cleaning companies take 40–60% of the booking fee. We think that's wrong. Our cleaners are skilled professionals — they deserve to be paid like it. The result? Cleaners who are motivated, invested, and proud of their work. Your home reflects that.

Where are your cleaners located?

All of our cleaners are based in the South Metro — they're your neighbors. They know the area, they have reliable transportation, and they're invested in the community they serve.
